I’m a big believer is moisturizing and maintaining a strong skin barrier. I’ve heard some people say that moisturizing isn’t necessary, and I’ve met plenty of people that don’t like to moisturize their skin at all. I get it. But, to me, it’s a critical last step to lock in the treatment step and to keep your skin looking hydrated and smooth. It also allows you to tolerate the essential treatment steps with ease. In fact, if my skin needs it, I use the Hydrate Gel prior to treatment step for a couple of days, or use it prior to my moisturizer if needed until my barrier is ready to start back on my Perfect Retinol Serum and my treatment pads.
